I have pleasure to inform you that India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) is organizing India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2003 from November 14 to 27, 2003 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Confluence 2003 – The SME Theme Pavillion has been created as this year the theme of IITF 2003 is “Export Promotion for small and Medium Enterprises”. In this connection, a copy of letter written by Shri J. Vasudevan, I.A.S., Chairman & Managing Director, ITPO to the Director General of EPCES is enclosed.

India International Trade Fair 2003 is being organized by ITPO every year continuously for the last 23 years. More than 25 countries and approx. 7000 exhibitors from India and abroad will be participating in IITF 2003. Over 2 lakh business visitors are expected to attend the fair. The IITF 2003 will act as a channel for goods, technologies and services to the vast Indian and overseas markets. For exploring new markets, collaborators, partners, suppliers for exports, the IITF 2003 will provide you the most ideal, convenient and cost effective solution. The SME Theme Pavillion in IITF 2003 is highly focused, exclusive area for promotion of exports, an ideal platform for international trade and will provide an excellent opportunity for daily meetings with international buyers and delegates. It is mentioned here that Meetings Rooms will be available for meetings with foreign buyers/business visitors free of charge. This is a unique and exclusive platform where international buyers and domestic entrepreneurs will come together from all over the country. This will be a novel way to promote exports by small and medium enterprises. The Fair will offer excellent opportunity where new trends will be on view and fresh ideas exchanged.

Kindly note that any unit can participate in this exhibition irrespective of their export performance in the past.

The following fully built up and furnished booths of international standards including carpet, one table, two chairs, 3 spot lights, one power socket of 1 KV are available at Confluence 2003 – The SME Theme Pavillion @ Rs.4,500/- per sq.mt. on first-cum-first serve basis:

Though the stalls are available of the above size, however a stall of 9 sq.mtr. can also be created.

There will be no electricity and water charges. Power above 1 KV capacity will be charged extra. The interested members are requested to send their confirmations and send a cheque/demand draft in favour of “ITPO New Delhi” calculated @ Rs.4,500/- per sq.mtr. along with enclosed Registration Form duly filled and signed directly to M/s Meroform (India) Pvt.Ltd., B-82, Sector-60, Noida-201 301 (UP) under intimation to us latest by 10.10.2003. However, it will be advisable to send request immediately to ensure availability of space. Shri J. Vasudevan, Chairman & Managing Director, ITPO has informed that M/s Meroform (India) Pvt.Ltd. have been appointed as their Authorized Associates for creating a special theme pavilion in Hall No.18 and marketing the space available in Confluence 2003.

It will be an excellent opportunity to exhibit your products. This may kindly be treated as most urgent.

We hereby apply for participation in CONFLUENCE 2003 and will abide by the ITPO terms and rules as stated in their Information Booklet. We enclose DD/New Delhi cheque payable to “ITPO New Delhi” as full payment calculated @ Rs.4,500/- per sq.m.DD/Cheque No.____________dated________________for
