ECONOMIC AND COMMERCIAL REPORT FROM EMBASSY OF INDIA, BAHRAIN

Please refer to EPCES Circular No. 14 dated 10-10-2003 wherein I had informed that I have written to all Embassies/High Commissions of India abroad regarding EPCES. I had forwarded Economic & Commercial Reports received from Denmark and Kazakhstan along with the Circular No. 14 dated 10-10-2003.

Now we have received another report from Embassy of India, Bahrain. A copy of this report is enclosed for your information. This report indicates the value of exports from India to Bahrain, items of exports from India to Bahrain, value of imports from Bahrain to India, items of import from Bahrain, Trade Enquiries, Investment projects in Bahrain, various tenders issued for procurement etc.

As per para 3 of this Report a new law has been enacted which allows non-Bahrainis to own property and land in Bahrain. This is for your information please.
