As you are aware that Ministry of Commerce has designated our Council as a nodal agency for processing and disbursing of MDA claims for export promotion activities abroad by EOU/SEZ Units

I am happy to inform you that as per the revised MDA guidelines, the units whose export turnover is upto Rs.10 crore are eligible for MDA Grant. Previously, this limit was upto Rs.5 crore.

Now, Ministry of Commerce has also allowed units to participate in trade fairs/exhibitions/buyer seller meets “either directly” OR “through the EPCs/ITPO led activities. In this regard, a letter No. 2/1/2004-E&MDA dated 26.4.05 has been received from Ministry of Commerce. A copy of the same is enclosed for your information. At present MDA was admissible only if a firm was participating in fair/exhibition only through the EPC/ITPO led activity.
