of Handbook of Procedures has been amended. As per
the amended paragraph SEZ units obtaining gold/ silver/platinum

prescribed was 60 days.
Last year the time

announced on 8-4-2005, Paragraph 6.2(f) of the Foreign

Annual Supplement of Foreign Trade Policy, we had
represented to DGFT that the time period in respect
of SEZ should also be changed. Accordingly DGFT has
issued Public Notice No. 7 dated 10-5-2005 affecting
